Tawana Muchatuta has led Operational Excellence in the Fintech and Manufacturing Industries and worked in multiple global locations, coordinating execution across time zones and cultures. He has also been instrumental in business development and corporate strategy execution. He uses program management principles and techniques to focus on internal and external partnerships and tactics aligned to growth and continuous sustainable improvement.
 
Mr Muchatuta started his career at internationally recognised FMCG companies British Sugar (now AB Sugar) and Schweppes, where he was a manager in production settings implementing pioneering technology applications and broking production records, setting new performance benchmarks across verticals. In addition, he was the lead on capital projects that covered new Line installations, old Line retrofits, sustainability KPI improvements and process optimisation.
 
Mr Muchatuta serves on the board of the Institute of Transformative Technologies, a non-profit whose mission is to bring to life, the most critical technology breakthroughs required for sustainable global development, and deploy these technologies through innovative, practical business models for large-scale impact. He is also on the Commercial Panel for the Institute of Chemical Engineers UK, which is a standing committee with delegated authority from the Board of Trustees. The Panel has oversight of the Institution’s commercial activity and delivery of its commercial strategy.
